My Story

Growing up with art and gaming
Growing up, I was really interested in art and found a love in creating it. I would find a way to create things all the time, even when going out I would bring my own notebooks and crayons. Shortly after I was a little older I was introduced to gaming through the Super Nintendo and my first handheld the NeoGeo (Or how I liked to refer to it at the time, my giant brick.) I was inspired by the worlds, the characters, and the stories. Eventually, I started to combine my first two loves by drawing art from my favorite games. Later, I would add-on to that passion in the form of anime. Which would then kick-start my imagination to create OC's and imagine new worlds of my own.
My passions gave me power
ver since I was a young girl, I have had many different health complications. This left me constantly in and out of the hospital and known as "that girl who was always sick." I took safety in my passions and used them as a way to grow, not only in skill but also as a person. Gaming, art and all the hobbies that gave me inspiration taught me so much and comforted me on the days in which I felt alone and different from my peers.
Finding a dream
No matter what interests and hobbies came into my life I always fell back on gaming and art. Even when I thought I wasn't going to get any better, I still always found myself going back time and time again. I knew that what I wanted to do in life was to make art for a living. So without knowing that there was such a thing as 'freelance working' I set my dream goal to 'just being an artist.' However, I didn't just want to be any artist; I wanted to be an artist that would somehow inspire the people around me. I also wanted to find a way to incorporating gaming into that same love but had never really found a way... yet.
The here and now
While I hadn't given up on my dreams, I had never found a way to make them happen. Instead, I worked as a teacher at an academy for English as a second language. After, I worked at a daycare/homing center for the elderly (A job that I fell in love with.) My health, however, finally had caught up to me and I found myself unable to complete the tasks of my work. Not only my work in fact but most work that requires any type of physical effort.Instead of letting this get me down, I decided to take it as a sign that maybe it was time to start a dream search. So with the approval of my partner, I have begun my journey to see if I can capture my dreams by not only making commissions; but by streaming my art and gaming on Twitch. Finally having a chance to combine both my loves and passions into one.

FAQ
How long have you been drawing?
Since I was very young! I have stopped here and there due to a lack of self-confidence, but I never stopped loving to create.
What mediums have you used?
Colored pencils, markers, and oil-based paint. My favorite mediums were charcoal and pastels.
Why did you switch to digital art?
I got into digital art around when I was in middle school but I wasn't very interested until I started sketching on my 3ds. After realizing that I could do more digitally, I got hooked on making digital creations and moved to it being my choice of mediums.
What tablet do you use?
I used to use an Intous tablet, however, I'm currently using a XP-Pen.
How did you find your style?
By no easy means! It takes a lot of time and effort. The best way to find it is to draw and draw A LOT. Slowly, you'll start to learn the difference between things you like and don't like. In doing so, you'll start picking up certain habits within your art that define your style.
Did you go to art school?
I was in art for 1 year and art honors for 3 years. I took art history on an online course and some graphic design. I want to go to university in either Illustration or graphic design.

FAQ
When did you start streaming?
My first stream was back in 2015. I streamed Luigi's Mansion for a couple of close friends, but mostly was a dedicated mod to twitch streamers. Throughout the next 4 years, I streamed only here and there because I could never find a reason to become serious about it. Finally, in November of 2019, I found my reasons to take it to another level.
What do you use to stream?
MSI GE72 6QF Apache Pro laptop (GC: GTX 970M CPU:I7)
Rode NT-USB Microphone
Sony MDR-1RBT headphones
Streamlabs OBS
Razor Capture Card
Why do you only stream 2 days of gaming and 3 days of art?
I stream 2 days of gaming instead of 3/3 for a few reasons:1. I need at least 2 full days to work on commissions, record, upgrade the stream, update my profiles, and organize ideas to have fun with the community!2. Among all that work stuff, I still need to find time to do daily life things like cleaning and paying bills. Even more so, I still try to find time for myself, my partner, and my pets.3. Finally, I always wanted a stream where I could get to know people, chat about things, share stories, and generally create an awesome community. I feel like that's easier for me to do while I am drawing than when I am playing a game. I still love gaming for everyone, though, and it's what lead me to Twitch in the first place. So that is how I try to maintain a balance!
Do you have your own discord?
Yes, I do! In fact I pride myself on having a discord that houses many different kinds of people who have many different hobbies. We are a one size fits all kind of discord and it makes for an awesome enviroment.
